WEST COAST SHADE warrants to repair the Shade Sail or Shade Canopy from any damage due to fair wear and tear for a period of THREE YEARS from the date of installation.
The manufacturers of the shade fabric each have their own warranty conditions which are available on request. Generally they warrant the product against UV breakdown for a period of ten years. Their warranty only extends to the replacement of cloth, and does not include fabrication or installation.
There is no warranty for damage due to mis-use or vandalism.
The warranty does not include costs attributed to travel and re-installation or freight costs. Repairs will be effected at the company's normal place of business.
The product has been approved by our Engineers to withstand wind of 80k.p.h. and are not designed to withstand severe weather conditions. The sails are designed primarily to provide SHADE and U.V. protection. They are not designed to provide year round weather protection.
In Perth metropolitan and South West regions the sails should be dismantled and stored from May 1 to October 31. In Mid West regions (i.e. Geraldton) the sails should be dismantled from June 1 to September 30. IN the North West and Cyclone regions and sails MUST be dismantled by the owner when a cyclone warning is issued.
